PORT ANGELES — It takes a lot of food to feed the cast and crew of “The Hunted.”
Caterer Peter Starkman feeds about 200 people at the shooting location on Lower Dam Road daily. Sometimes, that means serving four meals.
Feeding that many people daily means frequent trips to local grocery stores, he said.
“We have been purchasing a lot locally,” Starkman, a partner in For Stars Catering of El Segundo, Calif., said Wednesday. “There are always odds and ends that we need to purchase each day, and we have also been purchasing local seafood.”
Starkman called local merchants very accommodating.
“The folks here have been cooperative, and the town, in general, has embraced having us here,” he said.
Local grocers confirm frequent visits by the caterer, as well as cast and crew members.
