The North Olympic Peninsula Voter Guide is out just in time for the nearly three-week voting period in the all-mail general election ending Nov. 4.
It’s loaded with information about the candidates and issues in the election — truly your ballot companion to help make you a more-informed voter. As usual, copies are free to all voters as a public service by the Peninsula Daily News.
There’s no political advertising — just photos, biographies, Q&A interviews and related information about candidates for county, regional, state and federal offices. Ballot propositions, initiatives and advisory measure also are discussed.
There are three ways for you to receive the Voter Guide:
— Because it is designed to be a reference tool alongside your mail-in ballot, print copies are included with today’s Friday/Saturday weekend edition of the Peninsula Daily News.
— Extra print copies of the 28-page tabloid magazine will be available by next week at courthouses, libraries and other public contact points in Clallam and Jefferson counties (from Port Townsend to Forks), as well as at the Port Angeles PDN, Sequim Gazette and Forks Forum offices from now until Nov. 4 (or when supplies run out).
— And the Voter Guide appears online at http://issuu.com/peninsuladailynews/docs/voter_tab_1017.indd?e=1313114/9756547 (Adobe Flash is required).
Be sure to vote! You have until 8 p.m. Nov. 4.
Last-minute registration and other essential information appears on Page 2 of the Voter Guide.
