Free community Thanksgiving meals are set for today and Thursday.
The Salvation Army will serve a free community meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today.
The meal will be at the soup kitchen building, 123 S. Peabody St.
Mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, turkey, green beans and pie will be served.
Other meals are planned on Thanksgiving Day.
Tri-Area Community
CHIMACUM — A free community Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday.
The free dinner can be picked up the Tri-Area Community Center, 10 West Valley Road.
The meals consist of roasted turkey, vegetables, gravy, cranberry sauce, fresh rolls and dessert.
Reservations are requested, please call 360-379-4228 and leave your name, phone number and number of meals requested, and if you need a delivery.
Volunteers may call the same number.
Queen of Angels
PORT ANGELES — Queen of Angels Catholic Church will host a community Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
The free meal is in the church’s fellowship hall, 213 W. 11th St.
Hardy’s meal
SEQUIM — Hardy’s Market in Sequim will offer free Thanksgiving meals of Biryani chicken and rice with pumpkin pie beginning at 11 a.m. Thursday and continuing while supplies last.
The market is located at 10200 Old Olympic Highway.
Meals will be for carry-out only.
Event organizers request that no one come early.

PORT ANGELES — Serenity House of Clallam County will host a Thanksgiving dinner at 4 p.m. Thursday.
The gathering, which is open to the public, will be held in the shelter at 2321 W. 18th St.
