PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula College Jazz Ensemble will present a free concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The concert, which will be under the direction of David P. Jones, will be in the Maier Performance Hall at Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., Port Angeles.
Robbin Eaves is the featured vocalist with a 17-piece jazz big band.
They will perform tunes from the big band repertoire of Benny Goodman, Thad Jones, and Nat Adderley, as well as standards by Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, Kurt Weill, Rodgers & Hart and John Lewis.
The band will also include jazz arrangements of more modern tunes by Soundgarden, Pat Matheny and Bob Curnow.
The repertoire will cover eight decades of jazz and popular music.
