Free concerts in Port Angeles, Port Townsend!

Peninsula Daily News co-sponsors the free summer Concert on the Pier series on the stage at Port Angeles City Pier.

The outdoor concerts are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Sept. 14.

Tonight’s band: Manteca, a lively Latin jazz group.

In Port Townsend, the fiery string band Hot Club Sandwich will rock the Port Townsend waterfront on Thursday.

Bring your dancing shoes — or a lawn chair to sit on if you want to just tap your toes.

The group will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Quincy Street Dock area off Water Street.

The stage is adjacent to the Water Street Brewing & Ale House and next to the under-renovation Cannery building at the end of Quincy Street.

Admission is free. All ages are welcome.
