The annual Quillayute Valley Scholarship Auction has been rescheduled for March 15 and March 16 because of conflicting student activities.
The auction was originally scheduled to be held March 22 and March 23.
The auction was initiated in 1963 and scholarships can be awarded to any Forks High School or Quileute Tribal School graduate for college or vocational schools.
Graduates can also use scholarship funds years after graduation to receive training for a career change.
Each year auction officials try to top previous year’s figures.
Last year more than $69,000 was raised in the two-day period.
