PORT ANGELES — A 23-year-old Forks man was pinned beneath a log Tuesday morning while logging state timberland near Little River Road.
The log rolled on top of the man and came to rest on his arm and chest, trapping him there until other loggers and rescue workers could lift it and remove him, Clallam County Fire District No. 2 Chief Jon Bugher said.
The man’s identity was not released. He was transported to Olympic Memorial Hospital with a possible broken arm, broken collarbone and head injuries, Bugher said.
