Forks’ first foray into holding a holiday parade of light was deemed a brilliant success and the sign of more holiday parades to come.
The first Twinkle Light Holiday Parade was an assortment of lighted entries that ranged from a log truck to Indian canoes that maneuvered down Forks Avenue in the Friday twilight.
Janet Hughes, who with her husband, Tom, own the sponsoring JT’s Sweet Stuffs shop, described the parade as a “magnificent display of lights.”
