Forks High School and a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will be discussed during a community forum today.
The high school was named the first rural “High Tech High”‘ in February, winning a three-year grant in the name of the Microsoft entrepreneur and his wife totaling more than $310,000.
The public is invited to attend the forum, which begins at 3:30 p.m. in the Forks High School Commons, 261 S. Spartan Ave.
Facilitator will be Dan Groves from the Washington State University Center to Bridge the Digital Divide and Yakima Valley Community College. A dinner provided by the Family Community and Career Leaders of America will be served at 6:15 p.m. The forum is expected to end about 8:30 p.m.
