Authorities were looking for a 20-year-old man who escaped from the Forks City Jail on Monday afternoon.
The Forks Police Department said Orlando Gonzalez Malagon “was able to exit the facility and make his way under the security fence”‘ about 3 p.m. Forks officers, the Clallam County Sheriff’s Department, Washington State Patrol and a U.S. Forest Service tracking dog searched for Gonzalez, who is believed to have friends in the area.
He was described as 5 foot 4 inches tall, 135 pounds in weight with black hair, brown eyes and a medium build. A police dispatcher Monday night would not give the reason why Gonzalez had been jailed.
