If you haven’t already done so, now is the time enter the Peninsula Daily News’ Pro Football Challenge online contest — and you might become the winner of a trip for two to Hawaii or other national and local prizes.

The PDN’s Pro Football Challenge runs weekly through the Super Bowl on Feb. 5.
This contest is part of a national series sponsored by Upickem/Second Street Media.
It’s easy to play.
Each week entrants pick the winner for each pro football game up to 15 minutes before it is scheduled to start.
A competitor’s worst four weeks are tossed out so only the best 17 weeks count toward the entrant’s overall score for the entire 21-week contest.
Anyone signing up for the contest now — we’re now in Week 6 — will be behind other competitors in the overall season standings, but late entrants can still win prizes for an individual week.
If entrants don’t make selections, the computer will select the most picked teams for you that week.
Compete against a group
Entrants have the opportunity to create a “private group” of friends and family to compete against in the contest.
After registering and logging in, click on “My Private Groups” which will appear in the upper-left hand corner of the page.
After the page loads, click on “Create a Private Group” and follow the instructions.
Players are able to view a leader board to see where they stand.
Each week, the top picker from among all the websites participating will win an NFL FatHead from Fathead.com.
The local contest weekly is for prizes for those fans participating at www.peninsuladailynews.com.
In addition, there’s a national competition for a “Survivor” winner in the contest. This is a game-within-the-game. The winner will receive a $500 Amazon.com gift card.
At the end of the contest period, the top picker from among all the participating websites nationally will win a seven-day stay in Maui valued at $5,000.
There is no cost to play, but the PDN Pro Football Challenge is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 or older.
