First day of school: Many Peninsula students resume classes

Sequim, Brinnon, Quilcene kids go back today

Student in the Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Chimacum and Cape Flattery schools district resumed classes Tuesday.

Crescent School District’s kindergarten students also returned Tuesday. The rest of the Joyce district’s students returned to class last Thursday.

Today on the North Olympic Peninsula, Sequim School District will resume classes, as will Brinnon’s students and the first through 12th grades at Quilcene School District.

Forks students will return to classes at the Quillayute Valley School District on Thursday.

Kindergarten in Port Angeles and Quilcene will begin Friday. The first full day of kindergarten at Salish Coast Elementary School in Port Townsend will be Monday.
