Festival of Trees tickets on sale Monday

PORT ANGELES — Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday for the Festival of Trees’ Teddy Bear Tea, as well as the festival’s gala, Family Days Breakfast and Family Days.

Tickets will be available online at www.omhf.org, by calling 360-417-7144 or at the Olympic Medical Center Foundation office at 1015 Georgiana St. in Port Angeles.

Teddy Bear Tea tickets also can be purchased online at teddybeartea.brownpapertickets.com.

“If people want to go to either of the Teddy Bear Teas or the gala, both of which are held on Friday, Nov. 24, we advise them to get their tickets as early as they can. Both of these events sell out early,” said Bruce Skinner, OMC Foundation executive director.

Now in its 27th year, the annual event is a three-day fundraiser for the Olympic Medical Center Foundation.

Elaborately decorated Christmas trees and wreaths created by area designers are featured.

All events are held at the Vern Burton Community Center at 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

Here is the schedule:

Friday, Nov. 24

Teddy Bear Tea— 10 a.m. and noon for parents and children, presented by First Federal; $11 each.

Festival of Trees Gala — 5:30 p.m., buffet dinner, tree auction and silent auction sponsored by Sequim Health and Rehabilitation; $100 each.

Saturday, Nov. 25

Senior Breakfast — 8:30 a.m., includes sit-down breakfast, sponsored by The Lodge at Sherwood Village, The Fifth Avenue and Sherwood Assisted Living; $12 for adults. Limited tickets will be available at the door.

Family Days — 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., public viewing of decorated trees and wreaths, musical entertainers and children’s activity areas, presented by Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation of Sequim; $6 each, children younger than 8 free.

Sunday Nov. 26

Family Days — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., public viewing of decorated trees and wreaths, musical entertainers and children’s activity areas, presented by Avamere Olympic Rehabilitation of Sequim; $6 each, children younger than 8 free.
