PORT TOWNSEND — Organizers of the sixth annual “Fantabulous Follies” fundraiser for the Port Townsend Food Bank expect this weekend’s show to be its biggest ever.
“Spotlight on Broadway” will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday in the Port Townsend High School auditorium, 450 Fir St.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors. They will be available at the door.
Song and dance numbers from 14 Broadway shows will be presented and are still being rehearsed under the auspices of the O’Meara Dance Studio in Port Townsend.
To promote the show, four cast members performed at the Port Townsend Kiwanis Club on Wednesday morning, though they presented numbers from past years rather than those to be featured this weekend.
“We aren’t doing anything from this year’s show because we want it to be a surprise,” said Melanie Bozak, one of the performers.
The show will feature 26 adult and 23 student performers.
Port Townsend High School teacher Jim Guthrie will act as master of ceremonies.
