PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Public Utility District repaired a water main break that had prompted a boil-water advisory for the Fairview water system near Morse Creek.
The PUD had issued the advisory at 6:21 a.m. Friday while crews sought to find the break that had cut off water for some customers and lowered water pressure for others.
The PUD also issued a conserve water notice at 11 a.m. on Friday for Mount Angeles, Monroe, and Gales Addition water systems, asking all Port Angeles Composite Water System customer to conserve water until further notice.
By 12:30 p.m. Saturday, the lower Fairview portion of the Port Angeles Composite Water System had been returned to normal system operations and the boil-water and conservation notices were lifted.
The break was isolated from the system Friday afternoon and water taken had been analyzed by Saturday, said the PUD.
