The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider approving a public records act compliance policy at a meeting that begins at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The public records discussion will be at 10:30 a.m.
Commissioners also will hear the state Department of Natural Resources first quarter county income report. They will hear an update on the transmittal of planning commission and community development Comprehensive Plan Periodic Review and Unified Development Code amendments and consider setting a hearing on the amendments at 6 p.m. June 4.
Items on the consent agenda include:
• A $17,000 contract with Zenovic and Associates Inc., of Port Angeles for management of construction at the Jacob Miller Transfer Station.
• A Rural Arterial Program Project funding agreement for $639,000 for Center Road in Quilcene. The county match would be $71,000.
• A bid award of $306,824 for pavement marking on county roads.
• A Memorial Field utility easement to install underground utility lines.
Port Townsend City Council
The Port Townsend City Council will discuss the arts commission during a workshop at 6:30 p.m.Monday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
The council also will discuss the strategic plan, the meeting schedule and council committees.
The city planning commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the third-floor conference room at City Hall, 250 Madison St. The City Council Ad Hoc Committee on Housing meeting originally set for Thursday has been canceled.
Chimacum School
The Chimacum School Board will conduct an executive session on personnel when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be in the library at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
No action is to be taken.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will consider the lowest qualified bid for the dermatology build out project when they meet at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The board will meet in the Victor J. Dirksen Conference Room on the first floor of 834 Sheridan St.
E. Jefferson Fire-Rescue
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners generally meet the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the station at 35 Critter Lane in Port Townsend.
No agenda was available as of Saturday.
Development authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority Executive Committee will hear a Makers Square update when it meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in Seminar Building 297 at Fort Worden.
Committee members will discuss a Washington State Parks Commission meeting, master lease amendments, the capital budget, maintenance transition, board work groups, Fortopia Program and the Hibing marketing study.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will discuss cell tower legal action when they meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Commissioners will meet at 323 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
They also will consider a service delivery study, employment agreements addendums and ambulance replacement cost comparisons.
The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
Marine sanctuary
The Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Council will meet in La Push at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
The meeting will be in the West Wing, 90 Main St., La Push.
In the morning, the council will hear updates from the Ocean Acidification Sentinel Site Working Group and the results of an issue prioritization process. In the afternoon, the council will hear an overview of the sanctuary condition report, the California Current Integrated Ecosystem Assessment Program and ocean acidification education pilot programs.
Public comment periods are scheduled for 11:45 a.m. and 3:05 p.m.
