The Clallam County Commissioners will consider a letter regarding a trust land transfer application and the Forks City Council will host a public hearing regarding the Quillayute Airport master plan this week.
Clallam County Commissioners
The three Clallam County commissioners will consider a proposed letter to the state Department of Natural Resources opposing a 3,082-acre trust land transfer application submitted by the city of Port Angeles during their weekly business meeting Tuesday.
The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Tuesday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The commissioners also will meet in executive session to discuss collective bargaining during a special meeting at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
There will not be a virtual attendance option available for this meeting.

• An agreement with Bud Clary Ford for $70,051 to purchase a 2024 F150 Lightning for the Sheriff’s Office road cleanup crews.
• An agreement with 4Sight Labs for $24,687 to provide health sensors for at-risk jail inmates.
• An agreement with the state Department of Ecology for $94,000 to fund Olympic oyster restoration work by the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe in Sequim Bay.
• An agreement with Facet, Inc. for $264,021 to provide professional services related to the update of the county’s comprehensive plan.
• Opening of bids for the 2024 hot mix asphalt contract.

The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear an update regarding emergency shelter management when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
