Meetings across the North Olympic Peninsula

A Clallam County vote for the Board of Natural Resources election, a presentation regarding the Western Public Agencies Group and a comprehensive plan update will be before boards and commissions on the Peninsula next week.

Clallam County Commissioners

The three Clallam County commissioners will discuss the county’s vote for the Board of Natural Resources election during their weekly work session Monday and weekly business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The commissioners will discuss collective bargaining in executive session during a special meeting at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

• A resolution appointing Lindsey Sehmel to the Heritage Advisory Board.

• A pre-application questionnaire with the state Department of Agriculture regarding a 2025-2027 Fairs Capital Program Grant to update the rodeo arena at the county fairgrounds.

• A resolution making the county’s appointments and designations to the Washington Risk Pool.

• A letter of support for the Northwest Straits Commission’s 2026 supplemental budget request to the state Department of Ecology.

• Agreement with the state Department of Commerce for $445,167 in document recording fee funding for homelessness assistance.

• Memorandum of understanding with North Olympic Healthcare Network to facilitate the medical and behavioral services for juvenile and adult individuals in county custody.

• Agreement with Washington Initiative for Supported Employment for up to $150,000 to provide training and technical assistance for implementation of state County Services for Working Age Adult Policy.

• Agreement with Port Angeles School District for up to $55,200 to provide developmental disabilities transition program services.
