The boards of local government agencies will meet next week on the North Olympic Peninsula. Jefferson County commissioners will skip their weekly meeting due to the Christmas holiday.
Clallam County
The three Clallam County commissioners will consider agreements with multiple agencies for behavioral health funding totalling $2 million during their weekly business meeting Tuesday.
The commissioners’ work session, usually set on Monday but postponed because of the Christmas holiday at 9 a.m. Tuesday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The hybrid meetings are in the county commissioners meeting room in the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

• An amended contract with the state Department of Health for an additional $10,674 for WIC nutrition, drinking water and onsite sewage management programs.
• A grant agreement with the state Department of Ecology for $135,500 for Marine Resources Committee projects.
• An agreement with Harper Ridgeview Funeral Chapel for coroner support services.
• Two grant agreements with the state Department of Commerce for STOP Violence Against Women grants totalling $28,901.
• An agreement with Olympic Peninsula Humane Society to provide animal control services in support of the Sheriff’s Office.
• An amended agreement with Terraphase Engineering of Tacoma for an additional $45,528 to obtain state approval of additional water rights for the Carlsborg urban growth area.
• Two contract extensions with the Public Works Department to complete trail corridor acquisition for the Olympic Discovery Trail between U.S. Highway 101 and La Push.
• An agreement with DCG Watershed of Freeland for $60,490 to design a filtration plant for the Bullman Beach water system.
• A resolution to convene the Board of Equalization, as required by RCW 84.48.010.
• Recommendations from the Developmental Disability Advisory Board for seven grants, totalling $346,161.

Fire Protection District 3
Clallam County Fire Protection District 3 commissioners will consider the qualifications of an applicant for employment in executive session during a special meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting is in the district’s training and operations center, 255 Carlsborg Road, Sequim.
