The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider the Undie Road bypass when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend. An executive session is set for 10:45 a.m. to discuss potential litigation.
Commissioners will consider on the consent agenda a resolution to create the Undie Road bypass project.
Jefferson County Public Works will work with Clallam County Public Works to make the bypass of the road in West Jefferson County permanent.
A $2 million grant was received from the Federal Highway Administration. The county will contribute $33,000.
Commissioners also are expected to proclaim May National Bike Month and open bids for pavement marking.
They will hear an update on the North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee.
At the 1:30 p.m. county administrator briefing session, commissioners will hear an update on software replacement and discuss a proposed match for Iglitzin Farm conservation futures project.
Other items on the consent agenda include:
• A change order for the transfer station.
• An agreement on control of noxious weeds in county right-of-way.
Port Townsend City Council
The Port Townsend City Council will discuss fire district annexation when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The joint business meeting with the board of East Jefferson Fire Rescue will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
At 8 p.m., the council will meet in a special business meeting to discuss potential personnel action regarding Scott Walker’s reappointment to the Nonmotorized Transportation Advisory Board. Walker has requested deliberation be done in an open session, according to information in the council meeting packet.
Other city committee meetings, which are in conference rooms at City Hall, 250 Madison St., unless otherwise noted are:
• Historic Preservation Committee — 3 p.m. Tuesday, or third-floor conference room.
• Arts Commission — 3 p.m. Wednesday, third-floor conference room.
• Non-motorized Transportation Advisory Board Meeting — 4:30 p.m. Thursday, first-floor conference room.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District No. 3 commissioners will conduct a special meeting to review and edit the proposed draft commissioners handbook at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The workshop will be at Fire District 3’s headquarters station at 323 N. Fifth Ave. in Sequim.
The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will discuss in executive session the qualifications of an applicant for public employment when they meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The session will be in chambers, 333 Benedict St.
Quilcene School Board
Quilcene School Board members will discuss an audit exit when they meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The special meeting will be in Room 9 at 294715 U.S. Highway 101.
Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will consider human resource policies and travel policy when they meet at 5 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be at 63 Four Corners Road.
