Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will conduct a public hearing on proposed rate increased at 5 p.m. Monday.
The hearing will be at the Chimacum Fire Hall, 9193 Rhody Drive.
Proposed increases in electrical, water and sewer rates will be discussed.
No action will be taken.

PT City Council
The Port Townsend City Civil Service Commission will hear an update on police officer recruitment when it meets at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be in the second-floor conference room at City Hall, 250 Madison St.
The panel also will consider approving a civil service recruitment process for a community services officer.
The Port Townsend City Council will not meet this week.
Other meetings, which will be in conference rooms at 250 Madison St., are:
• Lodging Tax Advisory Committee — special meeting from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., third-floor conference room.
• Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory Board — 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., first-floor conference room.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will conduct a public workshop at 8 a.m. Wednesday.
The workshop will be in chambers, 333 Benedict St.
An agenda was not available as of Saturday.
