The Port Townsend City Council will consider passing a revised schedule for non-bargaining employee compensation when it meets Monday.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
The new schedule lists 28 positions and assigns each category a minimum and maximum salary based on years employed by the city.
The highest possible salary is $142,800 — that’s for a city manager with 24 years on the job.
The lowest is in the public works water management services: $70,125 for an employee with no previous service to the city.
Implementation of the new pay schedule would cost the city approximately $54,000, according to the agenda.
The council also will hear a water status update and discuss 2015 revenue estimate and projections for 2016 revenue.
Council office hours, during which members of the public can discuss any topic with a member of the City Council, take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the mayor’s office at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
Other city committee meetings, which are in conference rooms at City Hall, 250 Madison St., unless otherwise noted, are:
■ Historic Preservation Committee — 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, third-floor conference room.
■ Arts Commission — 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, third-floor conference room.
■ Planning Commission — 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in council chambers. The panel will consider the planning director’s recommendation on amendments.
Jefferson County commissioners
The three Jefferson County commissioners are expected to approve a $1,000 allocation for breast, cervical and colon health services at a meeting Monday.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The treatment will be offered to women who live below the federal poverty level or are not eligible for Medicaid.
The item is on the consent agenda, which means it will pass without discussion barring a request from a commissioner or the public.
Jefferson PUD
