The Port Townsend City Council will consider an ordinance adopting permanent zoning regulations and standards relating to both medical and recreational marijuana, including the adoption of buffer reductions for licensed marijuana operations, when it meets Monday.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
In addition, the council will consider revisions to the city’s Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan, last approved in 2010.
Jefferson County
The Jefferson County commissioners will meet Monday to potentially approve funds for two birth-to-3-year programs — one for the Port Townsend School District for $10,694 and the other for the Chimacum School District for $4,805.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in chambers, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Commissioners also will approve payments from Jefferson County Public Works to Widener & Associates of Everett for work done on the new Undie Road construction.
Port Townsend services, special project
The Port Townsend Council General Services and Special Projects Committee will discuss off-leash areas when it meets Tuesday.
The meeting will start at 4 p.m. in the third-floor conference room of the municipal building, 250 Madison St.
Port Townsend Arts Commission
The Port Townsend Arts Commission will hold a special meeting Wednesday.
The 6 p.m. meeting, which will be a seminar with questions and answers intended to educate artists and organizations on the commission’s application process, will be held in the Cotton Building, 607 Water St.
Jefferson Transit
Jefferson Transit board members will discuss a resolution to authorize the general manager to purchase RouteMatch software at a meeting Tuesday.
The board will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the transit facility at 63 Four Corners Road.
On the consent agenda is the approval of minutes and expenses for August and September and approval of out-of-state travel for Kari Piecuch, Transit human resources and payroll/benefits administrator, to attend a drug and alcohol program training course.
Jefferson County Fire District No. 1
Jefferson County Fire District No. 1 commissioners will hold a special meeting Wednesday to discuss the 2017 budget.
The commissioners also will hear public comment at 5:30 p.m. at Station 1-5, 35 Critter Lane, Port Townsend.
Quilcene School Board
The Quilcene School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Room 9 at 294715 U.S. Highway 101.
