The Port Townsend City Council will cover affordable housing tasking, midyear financial briefings, a review of the 2016 audit and LED street lighting when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The workshop meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
On Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., a quorum of council members may attend the water treatment facility grand opening at 2807 20th St.
From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, a quorum of the Planning Commission or City Council may attend the Howard Street and Upper Sims Way community open house.
Due to limited parking, event organizers urge those interested to carpool, walk, or bicycle to the event at the Towne Point Club House, 2240 Towne Point Ave.
Comments from the first meeting June 28, as well as results from an online survey, will be reviewed at the open house, as the city shares some of its draft concepts.
The goal of the plan is to address the community’s vision and needs while clearly articulating the city’s expectations through development standards and regulations, the city said in a news release.

County commissioners
The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider approving an ongoing contract with the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery to coordinate and implement youth abuse-prevention/-delay programs when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Other items on the consent agenda include:
• A two-month professional services agreement for $2,880 with ACE-IT Employment & Transition Services LLC to provide individual supported employment services for up to five transition students with developmental disabilities. The funding is from Olympic Community Action Programs.
• Approval of consolidated contracts between Jefferson County Public Health and the state Department of Health. The amendment adds $33,250 in revenue to the existing contract, for a total of $1,233,400.
On the regular agenda are a bid opening regarding Quilcene solid waste drop box site improvements, as well as a presentation and possible action on a volunteer maintenance agreement for Irondale Beach Park.
During the county administrator briefing session at 1:30 p.m., commissioners will participate in an informal briefing with the county Planning Commission regarding the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort.

Quilcene School Board
The Quilcene School Board will conduct a board work session at 5 p.m. Wednesday prior to its regular meeting at 6 p.m.
The board will meet in Room 9 at 294715 U.S. Highway 101.

Jefferson Transit
Jefferson Transit board members will conduct a public hearing on the 2017-22 Transit Development Plan/Transportation Improvement Plan when they meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will meet in the Jefferson Transit boardroom at 63 Four Corners Road, Port Townsend.
Board members also will consider resolutions on the 2017-22 Transportation Development Plan, 2017-22 State Transportation Improvement Plan and proposed drug and alcohol policy revision.
The board will go into executive session regarding personnel before adjourning.
Jefferson PUD
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will consider a net metering resolution update and Citizen Advisory Board resolution when they meet at 5 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be at 230 Chimacum Road, Port Hadlock.
Action items requiring board discussion include recording PUD meetings, the Union Bank building, succession planning for the general manager position and the 2018 PUD budget.
PUD commissioners also will hear staff reports (not requiring board action) on operations, HR/communications, staff and the static water level (the Sparling 2 well).
The PUD board will go into executive session before adjourning.
PUD advisory board
The Jefferson Public Utility District Citizen Advisory Board will discuss broadband delivery strategies, community solar use, financing for conservation projects and PUD credit card use policy when it meets at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be at the PUD Electrical Service Center, 310 Four Corners Road, Port Townsend.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will hear a presentation on Jefferson County Proposition 1, which if approved by voters would create a Home Opportunity Fund, when they meet at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Commissioners will meet in the Victor J. Dirksen Conference Room on the first floor of 834 Sheridan St.
The proposition will be on the Nov. 7 general election ballot.
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Station 1-5, 35 Critter Lane, Port Townsend.
