Port of Port Townsend commissioners will consider rescinding a multi-year levy when they meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be in chambers, 333 Benedict St. It will be preceded by a public workshop at 3 p.m.
A petition to put the levy of additional property taxes over the next 20 years on the ballot has been circulating.
At the regular meeting, commissioners also will consider the direction of the Citizens Advisory Committee.
During the workshop at 3 p.m., the commission will discuss the structure and purpose of the Citizens Advisory Committee and possible solutions to garbage issues at the Jefferson County International Airport.
Jefferson County
The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider approving a proposed public nuisance ordinance at a meeting that will begin at 9 a,m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
During the afternoon session at 1:30 p.m., commissioners will hear about a proposed amendment of the development agreement for the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort.
Commissioners also will consider a $486,629 contract with Tyler Technologies Muis Financial Management Software Suite for Jefferson County central services.
Executive sessions are planned on potential and actual litigation beginning at 11:30 a.m.
Items on the consent agenda include an $87,658 contract with Whitworth Excavation Inc., for the transfer station septic and water project.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council members will hear a report on the status of the city manager candidate when they meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The special meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
The council unanimously decided on Wednesday to offer the job to John Mauro of Auckland, New Zealand. The current city manager, David Timmons, will retire Friday.
On Monday, council members also will consider appointing an interim city manager.
The City Council Finance and Budget Committee will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers at 540 Water St.
Chimacum schools
The Chimacum School Board will consider action on summer capital bids and enrollment data when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
The board also will consider fees and fines for the 109-20 school year.
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Station 1-5, 35 Critter Lane, Port Townsend.
No agenda was available as of Saturday.
Development authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority board will consider glamping bond financing when it meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Room B in Commons Building 210 at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way.
The board will consider a resolution allowing the executive director to enter into an agreement for $2 million in bond financing for glamping — luxury camping — through Kitsap Bank.
The board also will her reports on the pier project, Makers Square, branding and other issues.
Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue
The Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue commissioners will consider the resignation of a firefighter-paramedic at a special meeting at 10 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be at Station 31 at 7650 Oak Bay Road in Port Ludlow.
Commissioners also will consider how to fill the vacant position and discuss a training consortium.
Jefferson Healthcare
The Jefferson Healthcare commission meeting originally set for Wednesday has been canceled.
