Port of Port Townsend commissioners will hear the first draft of the port’s 2020 budget when they meet in a workshop at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The regular session will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Both meetings will be at the port commission building, 333 Benedict St.
The workshop also will include a draft of the port newsletter and annual report.
The business meeting will include an update on the search for a new executive director as well as bid-opening results for the Boat Haven breakwater repair project.
Jefferson County
The three Jefferson County commissioners will discuss and potentially adopt a timeline for completing the updates to the critical areas ordinance when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
A closed session is set for 10:15 a.m. and scheduled for about 30 minutes to plan or adopt the strategy or position to be taken by the board during the course of collective bargaining, professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation proceedings.
An executive session to discuss actual litigation is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. and could last 30 minutes.
Items on the consent agenda include an agreement with the state Recreation and Conservation Office on the Lower Big Quilcene Floodplain to fund the acquisition of residential parcels and vacant land.
The total project amount is $354,500.
The project will secure properties that will help the county implement a preferred restoration design to restore spawning habitat for Hood Canal summer chum, and it will remove existing structures and make improvements to the native riparian vegetation.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend city finance committee will hear long-term capital financing recommendations when it meets at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
It also will consider financial policy updates and draft purchasing policies.
The City Council will not meet this week.
The city transportation committee will review its tasking resolution and prioritize agenda items for future meetings when it meets at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be in council chambers.
Chimacum school
The Chimacum School Board will discuss and potentially approve an agreement with the Chimacum Principals Association when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
It also will hear a proposal to purchase a bus and review high school graduation requirements.
Superintendent Rick Thompson will present Smarter Balance Assessment scores during his scheduled report.
Development authority board
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority board will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Commons B at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way.

The Jefferson Healthcare commission meeting originally set for Wednesday has been canceled.
