The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear an update from the state Department of Natural Resources when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The DNR will present its quarterly county income report from timber sales. Through the first three quarters of 2019, the timber lands have generated more than $1.2 million, according to the report.
The calendar year is estimated at about $2 million based on current contracts.
Items on the consent agenda include the declaration of a public hearing on a moratorium on commercial shooting facilities. The hearing will be held at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at The Commons at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way, Port Townsend.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will not meet this week.
The council finance and budget committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday and the Planning Commission meeting slated for Thursday also have been canceled.
The council’s next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 at 540 Water St.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will finalize 2020 rates when they meet in a special business session at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at the Port Commission building, 333 Benedict St.
Commissioners also will discuss October 2019 financial reports.
Jefferson Transit
Jefferson Transit board members will conduct a budget hearing when they meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will meet at the transit facility at 63 Four Corners Road.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will hear an education topic when they meet at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The board will meet in the Victor J. Dirksen Conference Room on the first floor of 834 Sheridan St.
The topic will be the methodology of patient and employee satisfaction, presented by Caitlin Harrison, the hospital’s chief human resources officer.
Development authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority board will hear a partner presentation from the Port Townsend School of the Arts when it meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at the Seminar Building (Building 297) at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way.
The board also will hear a memorandum of understanding for a construction bridge loan between the Fort Worden Foundation and the Fort Worden PDA for $500,000 for Makers Square.
