During the public hearing at 11:30 a.m., commissioners will hear from the directors of economic development councils in both counties: Brian Kuh, executive director of EDC Team Jefferson and Colleen McAleer, executive director of Clallam EDC.
At 11 a.m., they will conduct a public hearing on the Community Development Block Grant the county administers for Olympic Community Action Programs.
At 1:30 p.m., commissioners will be briefed on the role of an Associate Development Organization (ADO) and discuss the process of designating one.
At 9:45 a.m., they will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Tom Locke, county health officer.
Items on the consent agenda include an increase to the petty cash fund at the waste transfer station, a lodging tax grant for the Jefferson County Farmers’ Market and a lease agreement with the Chimacum School District for a COVID vaccination clinic.
