EYE ON JEFFERSON: County to hear update on COVID-19

The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear an update from Dr. Tom Locke, public health officer, when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

They will hear an update on the general fund six-year financial model and mid-biennium review.

On the consent agenda:

• An agreement concerning tobacco, vapor product and marijuana prevention between Jefferson County Public Health and Kitsap County Public Health in the amount of $42,244.

• An increase in the employee assistance program services rate from $1.76 to $1.81 per employee per month from November to Oct. 31, 2022.

Port Townsend city

The Port Townsend City Council will consider a contract with Jacobs Engineering Inc., for the design of the Gaines Street Lift Station upgrade and corrosion mitigation project when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Public Utility District

Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will consider an interlocal agreement with JeffCom when they meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Conservation District

Fire District 3

Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will discuss service delivery metrics when they meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
