The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider an interlocal agreement with the city of Port Townsend on the method of incorporating revenue for affordable housing when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
It has been moved to Tuesday because county offices will be closed Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Commissioners also will open sealed bids at about 10:15 a.m. for a construction project to resurface and restore about a half-mile of Center Road between the Little Quilcene River bridge and U.S. Highway 101.
Items on the consent agenda include an agreement for $200,000 to certain nonprofit agencies for the promotion of tourism and ongoing preservation of county heritage.
The funds were recommended by the county Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.
The agencies include the Forks Chamber of Commerce, the Jefferson County Historical Society, the Quilcene Historical Museum and Jefferson County Parks & Recreation.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will consider taking action to close Adams Street between Jefferson and Franklin streets when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
It has been moved to Tuesday because city offices will be closed Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
In new business, the council will consider a resolution to authorize the city manager to execute an agreement with Berk Consulting, Inc. not to exceed $20,000 to develop a strategic plan for the Port Townsend Public Library.
The city Planning Commission will hear a briefing on the Parks, Recreation and Open Space plan when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be in council chambers.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will consider a resolution for commission meeting procedures when they meet in a special session at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be in chambers, 333 Benedict St.
Commissioners also will consider a lease with the Port Townsend Furniture Clinic, a development memorandum of understanding with the Port Townsend Aero Museum and review financial data from the fourth quarter of 2019.
An executive session will include the evaluation of qualifications for applicants of public employment.
Commissioners will reconvene afterward with possible decisions from the executive session.
Quilcene schools
The Quilcene School Board will consider long-range plan updates to its transportation policies when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The regular board meeting will be in Room 9 at Quilcene Schools, 294715 U.S. Highway 101.
Brinnon schools
The Brinnon School Board will conduct a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at the Brinnon school library, 46 Schoolhouse Road.
No agenda was available as of Saturday.
Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will consider a new audio recording policy when they meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at 63 Four Corners Road.
Commissioners also will consider reformatting agendas for their meetings and the approval of a resolution for non-union employees.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will elect officers when they meet at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The board will meet for a regular session in the Victor J. Dirksen Conference Room on the first floor of 834 Sheridan St.
Board members will consider adopting the board book, board calendar and to adopt committee assignments.
Development authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority board’s executive committee will review a 2020 draft budget when it meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at the seminar building (building 297) at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way.
The committee also will hear an update on construction projects, leasing, master lease agreements and the Fort Worden collaborative planning process.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will hear a report on risk reduction and planning when they meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at station headquarters, 323 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
Agenda bills include a 2019 CERT report, a memorandum of understanding for wages in lieu of medical benefits, plus 2020 goals and tasks as well as 2020 budget workshops.
The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
