The three Jefferson County commissioners will continue deliberations and possibly take action on development regulations for the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend. Two executive sessions are planned: at 2:30 p.m.to discuss potential litigation and at 3:30 p.m. to discuss strategy for collective bargaining.
County offices will be closed on Monday for the Memorial Day holiday.
Commissioners will consider approving development regulations for the planned resort near Brinnon at 11 a.m.
At 10 a.m., Olympic Community Action Programs officials will update commissioners on housing and homelessness in the county.
At 10:45 a.m., commissioners will continue deliberation on a public records compliance act and may take action.
A work session on planning commission recommendations for the comprehensive plan periodic review is set for 1:30 p.m.
Items on the consent agenda include:
• Approval of a collective bargaining agreement with the United Food and Commercial Workers union.
• Approval of contracts with Widener & Associates of Everett for environmental permitting on the previously completed Upper Hoh Road emergency repair.
• Approve a change order for construction of power pack slab at the Jefferson County Transfer Station. It would add $739 to the contract with Christensen, Inc. of Tumwater for a total contract of $30,458.
• Approve resignation of Jill Buhler from the Jefferson County Board of Health. Kees Kolff has been nominated by the Jefferson Healthcare commissioners to take her place.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council Ad Hoc Committee on Housing Action will review interlocal cooperation agreements when it meets at 3 p.m. Thursday.
The panel will meet in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
It was tasked on May 7 with reviewing all interlocal agreements with Jefferson County and Olympic Community Action Programs related to affordable housing and funded by a surcharge on recording documents.
It has been more than 15 years from the first date of the agreements and the amount of funding has increased.
Offices will be closed on Monday for the Memorial Day holiday.
No other committee meetings are planned this week.
Chimacum School Board
The Chimacum School Board will conduct an executive session at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
The board will evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or review the performance of a public employees.
No action is expected.
