The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider adoption of the proposed 2019-2014 Six Year Transportation Plan at 10 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
At 1:30 p.m., commissioners will continue review of the draft changes to the Comprehensive Plan Update, focusing on the land use, environmental elements and Unified Development Code revision.
Items on the consent agenda include considering:
• Setting 10 a.m. Nov. 19 hearings on 2019 ad valorem tax levies and a proposed ordinance concerning the Public infrastructure Fund
• An open space taxation agreement concerning some 137 acres of land on the banks of the Duckabush River in Brinnon.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will consider approving the capital improvement plan for 2019-24 and the 2018 Water System Plan when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
The council also will consider setting a 1 percent increase in 2019 property tax levies.
It will conduct a public hearing on supplemental budget appropriations.
Council members will discuss the preliminary 2019 budget.
Other city committee meetings, which are in conference rooms at City Hall, 250 Madison St., unless otherwise noted are:
• Historic Preservation Committee — 3 p.m. Tuesday, third-floor conference room.
• Arts Commission — 3 p.m. Wednesday, third-floor conference room.
• Planning Commission — 6:30 p.m. Thursday, City Council chambers in historic City hall at 540 Water St.
Jefferson Transit
The Jefferson Transit board plans a 2019 budget workshop at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The workshop will be in the board room at 63 Four Corner Road in Port Townsend.
Chimacum School
The Chimacum School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
An agenda was posted, but could not be accessed online.
Quilcene School Board
The Quilcene School Board will consider transferring from the debt service fund to the capital projects fund when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The special meeting will be in Room 9 at 294715 U.S. Highway 101.
The board also will consider action on board goals and discuss strategic planning and a book study.
Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will consider the direction of the 2019 budget when they meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at 63 Four Corners Road, Port Townsend.
The consent agenda will include an agreement with the Noxious Weed Control Board and the upcoming calendar of meetings.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will attend a finance committee meeting to review the 2019 budget at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The special session will be in the Victor J. Dirksen Conference Room on the first floor of 834 Sheridan St.
No action is to be taken.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will consider the 2019 budget when they meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The commissioners meet at 323 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
They also will consider a resolution concerning declaring an ambulance surplus.
The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
