The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider a supplemental funding agreement for $75,000 for a summer homeless shelter when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The money will go to Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP) for running the shelter.
Commissioners also will consider approving a collective bargaining agreement which has been ratified by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Uniformed Support Services.
They are expected to set a Sept. 24 hearing date and a public comment period for a proposed ordinance on commercial shooting facilities. It would be set for 6:30 p.m. in the Superior Court courtroom at the courthouse.
Also on the consent agenda:
• An agreement with OlyCAP for the county to administer a Community Development Block grant of $100,458.
• A resolution inactivating Fund 142, the Public Defense Improvement Fund.
• Setting a hearing for 10 a.m. Sept. 24 on declaring Penny Creek pit property surplus.
At 1:30 p.m., commissioners will continue their discussion on an interlocal agreement on document recording fees for homeless housing and affordable housing.
City/county
A joint meeting of the Port Townsend City Council Ad Hoc Committee on Housing and the Jefferson County commissioners is set for 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse.
The joint meeting is to discuss interlocal agreements on homelessness and affordable housing using funding from recording fees.
Port Townsend City Council
The Port Townsend City Council will act on interim land use regulations when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
The ordinance relating to land use would provide that unless they were extended, the interim rules would sunset in six months.
The council also will consider a professional services agreement with National Golf Foundation Consulting, Inc., for an analysis of Port Townsend Golf Course operations.
The council will conduct a public hearing for an application to vacate a portion of 30th Street.
Also on the agenda is a special presentation about ecology bio-solids and wastewater treatment plants outstanding performance awards, and a designation of Jandis Lane as the street name for the alley within block 20 of Hastings Third Addition.

Marine Resources
The Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at the Port of Port Townsend Commissioners’ building, 333 Benedict St.
During the meeting, Dan Van Hees, of Northwest Straits Commission will speak about NWSC’s Action to Impacts program.
Parks & Rec Board
Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Advisory Board will hold a celebration of stewardship when it meets Wednesday.
The meeting will be held at HJ Carroll Park, 9884 state Highway 19, Port Hadlock.
Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will discuss low-income customer participation when they meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at 63 Four Corners Road.
An executive session is planned to review the performance of a public employee.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will consider a fire apparatus plan when they meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at 323 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
Commissioners also will consider a commissioner association check and retroactive chaplain stipends.
The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
