()

The three Jefferson County commissioners will discuss options for Undi Road when they meet Monday.

The discussion will be at the commissioners’ briefing session at 1:30 p.m. in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.

The regular meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the same location.

The commissioners will consider whether to continue repairs of the West Jefferson County road. Repair of the washed-out road is estimated at $1.8 million.

At 10 a.m., commissioners will interview two applicants — Jean Ball and Michael Nilssen — and possibly appoint one to the District 3 seat on the county planning commission.

They plan an executive session at 10:30 a.m. to discuss potential litigation.

At the afternoon briefing, they will hear reports on the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Endangered Species Act, Beckett Point’s potential request for special historic shoreline community designation, a comprehensive plan update and amendments to the Unified Development Code.

Items on the consent agenda include:

■ An agreement terminating the employment of interim Department of Community Development David Goldsmith, who served in that position for nine months until a permanent director was hired.

■ The appointment of Malloree Weinheimer to a two-year term on the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

Port Townsend city

The Port Townsend hearing examiner will consider a conditional use and height variance for a personal wireless installation Monday.

The Port Townsend School Board will consider agreements with companies involved in the replacement of Grant Street Elementary when it meets Monday.

It will review its policy on effective communication in light of a settlement agreement between a blind parent and Seattle Public Schools and hear a preliminary budget report.
