EYE ON JEFFERSON: County to consider Comprehensive Plan amendment docket

The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider a final docket of annual Comprehensive Plan amendments at a meeting on Monday that will begin at 9 a.m.

Commissioners also will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Tom Locke, county health officer.

They will consider the delegation of signature authority to the county administrator to execute state Contracts for Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding

On the consent agenda will be a contract for $5,882 for exterior wall repair at the Port Townsend Recreation Center and an agreement for inmate telephone/video visitation services.

Port Townsend city

The Port Townsend City Council will consider allowing transfer of Cherry Street affordable housing project form Homeward Bound to Bayside Housing when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Public safety

The Ad Hoc Committee on Public Safety and Law Enforcement will consider alternatives to law enforcement response when it meets at 5 p.m. Monday.

The Port Townsend School Board will conduct a work/study meeting when it meets at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Public Utility District

Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will discuss W Street property sale when they meet at 10 a.m. Monday.
