EYE ON JEFFERSON: County to consider bids for bids for Port Hadlock sewer equipment

The three Jefferson County commissioners will discuss and possibly act on a call for bids for the Port Hadlock sewer modular membrane bio reactor when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

Commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Tom Locke at 9:45 a.m. and will continue discussion on the 2021 board and committee assignments as well as the BOCC 2021 work plan.

Items on the consent agenda include a call for bids for the publication of legal notices, creation of a project for Port Ludlow culvert lining, a contract to service and maintain the district court video system and an agreement for residential substance abuse treatment in the county jail.

Joint schools meeting

The Chimacum and Port Townsend school boards will discuss the slate of candidates for superintendent during a special collaborative meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The meeting will include a 2½ hour executive session and an open session to publish the list of candidates.

Conservation Futures

The Jefferson County Conservation Futures Citizen Oversight Committee will elect new officers when it meets at 3 p.m. Monday.

Port Townsend city

The Port Townsend City Council Ad Hoc Committee on Public Safety and Law Enforcement will conduct a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Port of Port Townsend

Port of Port Townsend commissioners will discuss late materials related to the Quilcene planning process as well as the boatyard planning process during a workshop meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The commissioners will recess to a meeting of the Industrial Development Corporation of the Port of Port Townsend during a regular session at 1 p.m.
