The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider approval of a proposed amendment to the Pleasant Harbor Master Planned Resort Development Agreement at a meeting that will begin at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The amendment to be considered at 10:15 a.m. is for the development of the master planned resort on 237.88 acres on the Black Point Peninsula near Brinnon.
The amendment would mean that the phasing plan would be undertaken so that all conditions of the master planned resort are sufficient to stand alone if no phases are developed after Phase 1.
It also would amend Phase 1 to include such amenities as a 9-hole golf course, a spa, sports courts, a pool and water slides, a community center, a recreation center, a conference center, staff quarters, a maintenance building and commercial space.
Commissioners also will consider establishing budget objectives for the 2020-21 biennial county budget, updating the working capital reserve recommendation for each county fund, and rescind a resolution establishing a Revenue Stabilization Reserve.
At 1:30 p.m., commissioners will hear recommendations for conservation futures funding.
At 6 p.m. Tuesday, commissioners will conduct a community outreach meeting at the Chimacum Fire Station at 9193 Rhody Drive.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will consider directing the mayor to execute an employment agreement with John Mauro to serve as the city manager when it meets at 5 p.m. Monday.
The special meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
The contract would begin Nov. 1 with a starting base salary of $156,000.
The Council Finance and Budget Committee will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will consider a resolution rescinding its action on a multi-year levy when it conducts a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be in chambers, 333 Benedict St. An executive session is planned.
A petition calling for a vote on a property tax levy for projects within an Industrial Development District has been certified. Commissioners will consider rescinding the resolution creating the levy.
Commissioners also will consider the 2020 operating and capital budget development schedule, seasonal yard rates, second quarter financials, a taxiway connector for the Jefferson County International Airport runway and project updates.
Chimacum School
The Chimacum School Board will consider adopting the 2019-20 budget when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
It will consider a custodial, grounds and maintenance agreement , discuss a board listening session, approve superintendent goals for 2019-20 and discuss mission and vision implementation.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will consider an interlocal agreement with East Jefferson Fire Rescue for equipment use when they meet at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The board will meet in the Victor J. Dirksen Conference Room on the first floor of 834 Sheridan St.
Commissioners also will consider providing defibrillators int Chimacum schools.
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners will meet at Station 1-5, 35 Critter Lane, Port Townsend at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
No agenda was available as of Saturday.
Development authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority board will consider a memorandum of understanding with the Port Townsend School District to support learning opportunities for students at Fort Worden when it meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at the JFK Building at Fort Worden.
The board also will consider an agreement with KPTZ Radio for a lease in Building 305 of Makers Square.
