The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider designating the Economic Development Council of Jefferson County the associated development organization for the county when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Commissioners also will meet in executive session to discuss actual and potential litigation.
At the 1:30 p.m.. briefing session, they will hear about an abandoned boat on Marrowstone Island, the solid waste abatement budget and the draft biennial budget calendar.
Items on the consent agenda include:
• A notice of a hearing at 11 a.m. June 17 on the proposed public nuisance ordinance.
• Agreements concerning the Upper Hoh Road, the Oak Bay Camp host, jail inmate services, homeless services, Dove House and several health measures.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council Finance and Budget Committee will discuss allowing customers to pay with credit cards when it meets at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
The Port Townsend City Council will not meet this week.
No other city committee meetings are set this week.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will consider declaring the MV Jellyfish surplus when they meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The special meeting will be in chambers, 333 Benedict St.
Quilcene School Board
The Quilcene School Board will conduct a public hearing on the capital projects fund budget extension when it meets at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The board will meet in Room 9 at 294715 U.S. Highway 101.
The board will consider approval after the hearing.
It also will recess into an executive session to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to review the performance of a public employee.
