The three Jefferson County commissioners will conduct a public hearing on a Community Development Block Grant application at a meeting set for 9 a.m. Monday. The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The public hearing will be at 10 a.m. Soon after, commissioners will consider awarding a contract for the official county newspaper which will publish its legal advertisements.
At 11 a.m., commissioners will meet in closed session to discuss strategy in collective bargaining. At 1:30 p.m., commissioners will consider legally binding the county with respect to two applications for state grant assistance.
Items on the consent agenda include:
• An amendment to the implementation of Phase III of the Hood Canal Regional Pollution Identification and Correction Program, providing an additional $2,000 for a total of $29,000.
• Continuation of a contract allowing Kitsap County Public Health District to participate in a nurse family partnership program under the umbrella of Jefferson County Public Health.
• A state grant of $54,003 for residents with disabilities.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will consider adopting the 20-19 Stormwater Management Plan after a public hearing when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
It also will be updated on a letter to Port Townsend Paper saying the city will not renew a lease with the firm that dates back to 1956. The city leased the Olympic Gravity Water System to the mill. In exchange for providing maintenance, the mill was permitted to take all the water except for the city’s drinking water requirements. The lease expired on Friday.
The council will consider accepting a donation of $25,000 to build a dog park at of about 1 acre at Mountain View Commons.
It will consider a resolution authorizing the city manager to sign a design contract for emergency shoreline repairs of Quincy, Adams and Gaines streets. Streets were damaged during a storm in December.
The council also is expected to issue proclamations recognizing the 30th anniversary of Sound Experience and of Kiwanis International Day.

• Council Ad Hoc Committee on Housing — 3 p.m. Thursday in council chambers at historic City hall.
• Jamestown S’Klallam “Nation within a Nation Relationship” — 2:30 p.m. Friday, Pope Marine Building, 100 Madison St., A quorum of City Council members may attend.
Board of Health
The Jefferson County Board of Health is scheduled to meet at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Pacific Room at 615 Sheridan. No agenda was available of Saturday.
Quilcene School Board
The Quilcene School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The board will meet in Room 9 at 294715 U.S. Highway 101. No agenda had been posted as of Saturday.
Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will discuss a broadband survey when they meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday. The meeting will be at 63 Four Corners Road. Commissioners also will discuss future hires.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare hospital commissioners will meet with District 24 legislators in Olympia on Tuesday.
They will meet with Rep. Steve Tharinger, D-Port Townsend, in the John L. O’Brien Building, with Sen. Kevin Van De Wege, D-Sequim, in the John A. Cherberg Building and with Rep. Mike Chapman, D-Port Angeles, in the 132B Legislative Building.
District 24 covers Jefferson and Clallam counties and part of Grays Harbor County.
Fire-Rescue
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners will discuss the next steps in the annexation of Port Townsend into the fire district when they meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Station 1-5, 35 Critter Lane, Port Townsend. Voters approved the annexation in February.
Commissioners also will consider wildland fire advisory committee news and volunteer recruitment and retention.
Development authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority executive committee will discuss the Fourth of July and marina facilities planning when it meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be in Seminar Building 297 at Fort Worden. The committee also will consider an annual report and a five-year report. It will recess into an executive session to review personnel matters and lease terms.
Fire District 3
Clallam County Fire District 3 commissioners will discuss a Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe communications tower when it meets at 1 p.m. Tuesday. They will meet at 323 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
They also will discuss facility vehicle purchase authorization and human resource management The district covers the east side of Clallam County with a small portion in Jefferson County.
