EYE ON JEFFERSON: County considers cellular tower lease

The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider leasing space at the county fairgrounds to Verizon for a cellular communications tower when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.

The Jefferson County Board of Health will discuss a resolution concerning entheogens when they meet at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Quilcene schools

The Quilcene School Board will consider a list of hiring actions for the 2021-22 school year when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday. The meeting is in the school’s multipurpose room at 294715 U.S. Highway 101. The meeting also will be streamed live; email jsukert@qsd48.org for the meeting link.

The board will hear a capital levy update and discuss reopening plans, the senior class trip, graduation plans and the academic and student well-being plan.

The Olympic Educational Service District 114 board of directors will meet at noon Thursday.

E. Jefferson Fire-Rescue

The fire commissioners will meet Tammy Ridgway, new medical service officer; two candidates for paramedic school; and Tom Olson, the new Port Townsend police chief.

Housing Authority

Hood Canal Coordinating Council
