EYE ON JEFFERSON: County commissioners to view legislative session

The three Jefferson County commissioners will discuss the 2021 legislative session during a special meeting at 9 a.m. Monday.

Commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Tom Locke and discuss future agenda items, calendar coordination and miscellaneous items.

Items on the consent agenda include the Seventh and Hendricks affordable housing project, an agreement for mental health navigator services, E911 operations funding and two advisory board appointments.

Association of counties

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.

Both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.

The Port Townsend City Council will meet in executive session during a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Port Townsend schools

The Port Townsend School Board will meet in a special session at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

The directors will review the results of a board self-assessment with a consultant from the Washington State School Directors’ Association.
