The commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Allison Berry at 9:45 a.m.
At 1:30 p.m., they will consider a draft letter inviting the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe to participate in the 40th anniversary of the Old Time Chautauqua during the 2022 Rhododendron Festival May 20-22. The letter also would be sent to the Quileute and Quinault nations and the Makah and Lower Elwha Klallam tribes, as well as the Port Gamble Tribe and others.
Items on the consent agenda include approval of amendments to the first quarter budget, an agreement with the Quilcene School District for $5,701 to provide HIV education for the 2021-2022 school year, an amendment to the agreement with People First of Washington for an additional $3,750 services for March through June 2022 and an agreement with Mark McCauley, the new county administrator for a salary of $160,000 per year.

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.
Both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.
