The three Jefferson County commissioners will discuss the makeup of the Climate Action Committee at a meeting Monday.
The discussion will begin at 1:30 p.m. in chambers, 1820 Jefferson St.
The committee is jointly sponsored by Jefferson County and the city of Port Townsend and serves as an advisory group on climate action, policies, programs and priorities.
Its principal role is to advise the county and city on the implementation and updating of the climate action plan, specifically on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, preparing for climate impacts, monitoring progress and conducting community outreach.
The only item on the morning agenda, which begins at 9 a.m., is the approval of the consent agenda.
Items on the consent agenda include:
■ Approval of a change order to the Oil City road emergency repair project in the amount of $7,496.05.
■ An agreement to allocate $1,200 for school nurse mileage reimbursement.
■ An agreement to allocate $27,570 the Jumping Mouse Children’s Center for mental health treatment services.
■ An agreement to allocate $88,685 to support chemical dependency treatment.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend Planning Commission will hear a periodic update about the comprehensive plan’s land-use element at a meeting Thursday.
The meeting takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in council chambers, 540 Water St.
The commission also will receive an update on the Growth Management Act and consider amendments to development regulations.

■ Library Advisory Board — 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Library Learning Center, 1256 Lawrence St.
■ Parks, Recreation and Trees Advisory Board — 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, first-floor conference room, City Hall, 250 Madison St.
No council office hours are scheduled this week.

The Port Townsend School Board will discuss personnel and policies at a meeting Monday.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the Gael Stuart Building, 1610 Blaine St.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will update policies and procedures at a meeting Wednesday.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in chambers, 333 Benedict St.
The commissioners also will discuss kayak storage rates.
Public development authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority will review and discuss the 2016 draft budget at a meeting Wednesday.
The meeting will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Fort Worden Commons.
