The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider approving levy rates for collection next year when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The levies to be finalized include the county’s general fund, roads, conservation futures and personal property tax.
Commissioners also will have a public hearing on the five-year homeless housing plan.
The 2020 lodging tax funding recommendations also are on the agenda with potential action.
Items on the consent agenda include a hearing notice for the county’s biennial budget, which is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Dec. 2.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2020 budget when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
The hearing will include council questions from the initial presentation Nov. 5 and a lodging tax budget recommendation for 2020.
Unfinished business includes an ordinance to adopt supplemental budget appropriations, an ordinance to adopt the six-year capital improvement plan, and an ordinance to fix property tax levy amounts to be collected in 2020.
Port Townsend schools
The Port Townsend School Board will conduct an executive session to discuss the performance of a public employee when it has a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in the Gael Stuart Building, 1610 Blaine St.
The school board will recognize retiring directors as part of its regular meeting agenda at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Items on the consent agenda include personnel action with recommendations for appointments.
The board plans to take action on several policy items, including enrollment and non-discrimination.
In new business, the board will discuss Narcan use in state high schools as it relates to Senate Bill 5380.
Quilcene School Board
The Quilcene School Board will hear a class size update when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday.
The board will meet in Room 9 at 294715 U.S. Highway 101.
A presentation will be given on graduation rates and drop-out prevention, and the board will discuss policy on sexual harassment.
Jefferson Transit
Jefferson Transit board members will conduct a budget hearing when they meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will meet at the transit facility at 63 Four Corners Road.
Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will hear an opt-out resolution for Automatic Meter Reading meters when they meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The meeting will be at 63 Four Corners Road.
Additional agenda items include a Meadows sewer agreement and a segregation of assessment for sewer for 2019-20.
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue
East Jefferson Fire-Rescue commissioners will hear the agency’s 2020 budget at a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Station 1-5, 35 Critter Lane, Port Townsend.
Public Development Authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority board’s executive committee will hear updates on leasing, construction projects and construction bridge financing when it meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at the Seminar Building (Building 297) at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way.
Brinnon school
The Brinnon School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the school library.
The school is located at 46 Schoolhouse Road, Brinnon.
