Collaborative Committee
The Intergovernmental Collaborative Committee will hear task force recommendations for recovery from COVID-19 precautions when it meets at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The ICC panel is composed of two members of each of four entities: Jefferson County Commission, Port Townsend City Council, the Port of Port Townsend and Jefferson County Public Utility District. The panel is working with community task forces to create a Consolidated Recovery and Resiliency Plan to be recommended to the Intergovernmental Collaborative Group (ICG) , made up of all members of the four entities.

Port Townsend city

The program enacted to allow the use of public outdoor spaces for private businesses to operate while indoor occupancy is limited during the COVID crisis expires on Oct. 31.
The council will consider extending the program until occupancy is restored to 75 percent or better in restaurants or when Phase 4 for reopening is reached.
The resolution would direct city staff to develop weather safety guidelines for tents.
The council also will be briefed on the winter shelter.
It will consider authorizing a $3.6 million capital improvement bond and a $1.9 million water and sewer revenue bond.
Also on the agenda are interim standards for street lighting, a utility easement, expansion of the capacity of the Rainier Street Regional Stormwater Facility and a performance assessment tool for evaluating the city manager’s performance.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will attend the Finance Committee Meeting to review and discuss the proposed 2021 budget when they meet in a special workshop at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
