The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider storing digital court records in Cheney when they meet Tuesday.

The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.

Washington State Archives is offering county governments secure storage of digital court records in Cheney.

Records would be available to the public the day after processing, according to the agenda memo.

The digital transfer is intended to provide backup storage “as far as feasibly possible from our location so if a catastrophic earthquake, accident at Indian Island or a courthouse fire were to occur the court records will survive,” according to the agenda request.

The item is on the consent agenda and will pass without discussion unless requested by a county employee or member of the public.

Other items on the consent agenda include:

■ Setting a budget appropriations hearing for 10 a.m. July 18.

■ Terminating the Family and Juvenile Court Improvement plan.

■ Considering a joint-use parking agreement with Trinity United Methodist Church.

■ Considering adding $1,126 to a contract with the Olympic Educational Service District 114 for asthma case management.

■ A $5,000 contract with Redback Consulting to upgrade the Jefferson Marine Resources Committee website.

■ Lease renewal for office and meeting room space in the Brown Farmhouse in Chimacum through Finnriver North LLC for January 2016 through December 2017 for $4,800.

■ Lease renewal for the Port of Port Townsend Marina Room from June 2016 through May 2017 for $2,200.

■ Allocating additional funding for nursing services to jail inmates with substance abuse, chemical dependency and mental health issues.

During their 1:30 p.m. briefing session, commissioners will discuss a civil deputy prosecuting attorney position.

Port Townsend city

The Port Townsend City Council will consider the appointment of an ethics hearing officer to address a complaint when they meet Tuesday.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.

The recommended hearing officer is Seattle attorney Peter Eglick. The time span for the agreement would be from July 6 through Dec. 31.

The council also will consider extending the cable television franchise held by WaveDivision I LLC through Dec. 31, 2017.

It will consider final approval of an updated building code and consider inclusion of the city within the Jefferson County Conservation District.

City meetings taking place in conference rooms at City Hall, 25 Madison St., are:

■ Arts Commission — 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, second-floor conference room.

■ Non-Motorized Transportation Advisory Board — 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, first-floor conference room.

Jefferson PUD

Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will review a proposed change to the agreement with the general manager and consider installing 3,700 feet of fiber in Quilcene when they meet Tuesday.

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at 250 Chimacum Road, Port Hadlock.

A proposed change to the agreement with the general manager is that he will serve in that capacity at an annual salary of $128,000 until May 1, 2018, instead of until Jan. 15, 2019, at an annual salary of $128,000. After that time, he will be employed part time as the district water and sewer utility supervisor and engineer.

The fiber would be installed so the Mt. Crag microwave relay site can be decommissioned.

Commissioners also will consider changes to the district’s travel policy, consider a professional services contract with Don McDaniels and review an assistant manager job description.

Jefferson Healthcare

Jefferson Healthcare hospital commissioners will hear the Critical Access Hospital annual report at a meeting Wednesday.

The meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Jefferson Healthcare conference room, 2500 W. Sims Way, Port Townsend.

They also will consider medical staff appointments, reappointments and credentials, as well as some medical staff policies.
