EYE ON JEFFERSON: CARES Act funding under consideration

The three Jefferson County commissioners will continue to consider Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding allocations when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

Commissioners also will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Tom Locke, county health officer.

They will recess into executive session on actual and potential litigation.

Intergovernmental committee

The Intergovernmental Coordinating Committee will hear reports on the COVID-19 Recovery and Resiliency Plan when it meets at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The Port Townsend City Council meeting set for Monday has been canceled.

Port of Port Townsend commissioners will consider a Jamestown S’Klallam presentation on an oyster farm at Point Hudson when they meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Chimacum School Board is expected to name a new board member when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Public Utility District

Commissioners also will consider water use efficiency goals at the special meeting.

Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will conduct a Health Equity Report resolution discussion when they meet at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
