The Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will conduct its annual parks tour at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The special meeting will continue until 3 p.m. at a variety of parks, beginning at Chimacum Park, 9635 Rhody Drive, Chimacum.
Those interested may carpool from Chimacum Park.
The tour is outdoors; appropriate weather gear is suggested.
The public is invited to attend and should bring their own water and lunch.

County commission
The three Jefferson County commissioners will continue their deliberation on the proposed draft hearing examiner code when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in commissioners’ chambers at the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Commissioners also will interview two candidates for the county Board of Equalization vacancy.
Items on the consent agenda include resolutions to continue the relationship with the Washington Counties Risk Pool and updating the county’s risk management policy.
There is also an agreement for the Conservation Futures Fund acquisition for the Tarboo Forest addition in the amount of $110,000, and a Conservation Futures Fund acquisition for the Snow Creek Middle Reach Forest protections project for $25,385.
Port Townsend city
The Port Townsend City Council will hear a special presentation from the Jefferson County Noxious Weed Control Board when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The meeting will be in council chambers at historic City Hall, 540 Water St.
Council members also will conduct a public hearing on permit and system development charge waivers for affordable housing, low-income fee deferrals and amendments to the city code.
Under new business, the city will hear an ordinance related to utility rates, amending stormwater rates and amending city code.
The city Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at historic City Hall.
Port of Port Townsend
Port of Port Townsend commissioners will conduct a public hearing on the draft 2020 operating and capital budget when they meet in a special business meeting at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at the port commission building, 333 Benedict St.
Regular business will include year-to-date financial figures through September.
Chimacum schools
The Chimacum School Board will hear an enrollment update with fall 2019 numbers when it meets at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
Superintendent Rick Thompson will provide an overview of communications for a variety of inclement weather conditions and discuss the district’s alternative learning Pi Program.
Jefferson Healthcare
Jefferson Healthcare commissioners will learn about the master site plan community forum when they meet at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The board will meet in the Victor J. Dirksen Conference Room on the first floor of 834 Sheridan St.
Commissioners also will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday to attend the finance committee meeting.
The purpose will be to review and discuss the 2020 budget.
No action will be taken.
Public Development Authority
The Fort Worden Public Development Authority board and the Fort Worden Foundation will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The meeting will be at Commons A, Building 210 at Fort Worden, 200 Battery Way.
The Friends of Fort Worden will provide a partner presentation near the beginning of the meeting, and a Makers Square business plan presentation is scheduled at about 10:30 a.m.
Brinnon schools
The Brinnon School Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday at the Brinnon School Office, 46 Schoolhouse Road.
An agenda was not available Friday.
