The Port Townsend City Council will consider issuing a $3.8 million limited tax general obligation and refunding bond and a $1.9 million water and sewer bond when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

The general obligation bond is to repay the city’s general obligation fund note.
The sewer bond is to pay part of the cost of constructing water system Improvements connected with the Water Treatment Facility and Big Quil Diversion Dam.
Council members also will consider a contract amendment with The Chamber of Jefferson County for visitor center Operations and marketing services.
Joint schools meeting
The Port Townsend and Chimacum school boards will consider creating a superintendent search timeline during a special joint meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Public Utility District
Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will conduct a public hearing on the proposed 2021 budget when they meet at 5 p.m. Monday.
They will consider approving the budget later in the meeting.
