EYE ON JEFFERSON: Affordable housing action on county agenda

The three Jefferson County commissioners will consider approving funding levels for inclusion in requests for proposals for affordable housing when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

On the consent agenda are calls for bids for courthouse boiler replacement and for a supply of aggregate for bituminous surface treatment.

Also on the consent agenda are agreements with the Jefferson Universal Movement Playground design for an accessible playground at HJ Carroll Park in the amount of $31,360; a supplemental agreement with Civil Engineering Services for the Quilcene Complete Streets Project; and a agreement for coordination of services for low-risk juvenile offenders between the juvenile services department and the YMCA.

Management agreements are scheduled to be adopted for the Gardiner Community Center, the Port Townsend Community Center, the three county community centers — in the Tri-Area Quilcene and Brinnon — and agreements for an interlocal shoreline master plan effectiveness study and Proctor House services.
